Meet Amanda Burkhalter, CPNP-PC, CPNP-AC
Amanda Burkhalter joined CHRISTUS Children's and Baylor College of Medicine as a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She brings many years of experience to the CHRISTUS Children's Neurosciences Center. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of children in our outpatient clinics. Amanda enjoys working with children of all ages to optimize their care and improve their quality of life.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys family time with her children's sports activities, hiking, swimming and watching wildlife.

I felt listened to and not at all belittled like some providers will do. I am very pleased with the practice.
This doctor was very rude. I asked her if we could possibly get a second opinion and she discouraged us from trying to get one she also said that my sons pain could possibly be in his head. She did go on to explain however that she had a teenage son that had an injury to his back and her son‘s pain was very real. She recommended that we try a Arasti. She Did not also want to help with school excuses that we needed.
