Dr. Jambhekar is a Board Certified Surgeon who brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to advancing breast health access and care. Dr. Jambhekar earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Cell and Molecular Biology at Tulane University, New Orleans, LA. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in San Antonio, TX.

Dr. Jambhekar completed her Residency in General Surgery at the New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Brooklyn, NY. She also completed a Fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at Columbia University Medical Center, New York, NY. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business, Bloomington, IN. During that time, she was named one of top 20 graduates in the country.
