Dr. Amy Garcia Singh is a board-certified dermatologist at CHRISTUS Health in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Born and raised in Santa Fe, she is proud to return home to care for the community where she grew up. She earned her bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis, her medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, completed her internship at the University of New Mexico, and completed her dermatology residency at the University of Arizona, where she served as Chief Resident. She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and skin cancer care at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Dermatology Specialists.

Her published work includes a case report on a rare drug-related skin reaction (BRAF inhibitor–associated transient acantholytic dermatosis) in the Dermatology Online Journal, and a book chapter co-authored with epidemiologist Marianne Berwick, PhD, MPH on solar UV exposure and mortality from skin tumors, published in the academic text Sunlight, Vitamin D, and Skin Cancer. During medical school, she also participated in dermatology research at UNM under multiple faculty investigators, contributing to primary research, case studies, and conference presentations. This background means she stays current with the evolving science of skin cancer risk, prevention, and diagnosis, and applies that knowledge directly to the patients she sees in clinic.

Before and during medical school, Dr. Garcia Singh built a sustained record of community service focused on reaching people who often go without care. From 2016 to 2020, she coordinated and volunteered at a multidisciplinary student-run clinic inside a men's homeless shelter in Albuquerque, the Albuquerque Opportunity Center, where she was recognized by UNM faculty with the HATS Off (Humanism, Activism, Talent, Service) Award for demonstrating "the core elements of compassion, health equity, and professionalism." She also spent five years advising students at Health Leadership High School in Albuquerque, helping them develop health literacy skills and participate in community health fairs. In 2015, she volunteered at Kathmandu Medical College in Nepal, assisting with outpatient visits, patient-family counseling, and inpatient rounds. This pattern of service, spanning homeless shelters, public schools, and international clinics, reflects a physician who understands that access to care, not just expertise, is what makes a difference in health outcomes.
