Meet Andres Yepes Hurtado, MD
Andres Yepes-Hurtado, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist, critical care physician, and interventional pulmonologist with CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in Tyler, TX. Dr. Yepes-Hurtado completed his medical degree at Universidad El Bosque in Colombia, followed by an internal medicine residency and a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. He has also been recognized by the American Association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology. Throughout his career, Dr. Yepes-Hurtado has cared for patients in diverse clinical settings, contributed to advancements in bronchoscopic techniques, and collaborated on numerous publications exploring respiratory failure, interventional procedures, and innovative critical-care approaches. He is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care, always striving to help patients breathe easier and live healthier lives. Outside of medicine, he enjoys academic mentorship, participation in professional pulmonary societies, and contributions to ongoing clinical research.
