Athena Nguyen, MD, is a board-certified family medicine clinician and a valued figure in our CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in New Braunfels. She provides comprehensive care for patients ages 15 and older with a focus on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and mental health support.
Dr. Nguyen completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Buffalo in New York, where she also contributed her knowledge to academic conferences. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Queensland-Ochsner Medical Program.
Passionate about community outreach, Dr. Nguyen takes pride in volunteering extensively through the Lighthouse Free Medical Clinic and the UB Heals Outreach Program, building trusted relationships with her community.
