Meet Bruce Gibson, MD
Bruce Gibson, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist with over three decades of experience providing comprehensive digestive health care. He has been serving patients in Corpus Christi since 1989, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders.
Dr. Gibson earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. He pursued advanced training through a Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he also served as an Assistant Instructor in Internal Medicine. His training included international experience at the University of Hamburg in West Germany.
Dr. Gibson is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, American Gastroenterological Association, Texas Medical Association, and the Nueces County Medical Society. He remains committed to continuing education, regularly attending advanced courses and symposia to stay at the forefront of gastroenterology.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Gibson enjoys sharing his expertise with peers and supporting initiatives that advance digestive health care in South Texas.
