Meet Cecilia Garcia de Mitchell, MD

Dr. Garcia de Mitchell received her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where she also completed her plastic and reconstructive surgery residency and craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery fellowship training.

Dr. Garcia's research interests include cleft lip and palate, craniofacial surgery and international medical development. She became a board-certified plastic surgeon in 2009.

Prior to joining CHRISTUS Children's Craniofacial Program, she served as the international medical development fellow for LEAP Global Missions, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing plastic and craniofacial surgical services in underserved areas including India, Haiti, Belize and Mexico.
