About

Dr. Clay Farahani was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where his father served in the U.S. Air Force. As children, Dr. Farahani and his sister enjoyed traveling with their dad, whose job frequently required him to travel to San Antonio. It was during these trips that Dr. Farahani fell in love with the San Antonio Spurs basketball team. As a kid, he was also interested in music, specifically the electric guitar, which spurred his interest in hearing devices and ear, nose, and throat conditions.

During his ENT residency, he had a pediatric rotation and developed a strong desire to care for children and their families. Several of his friends had their own children, and he enjoyed talking to them about ear tubes, tonsillectomies, and other common ENT surgeries. He realized that he wanted his career to focus on children because they are a joy to treat, and he finds great satisfaction in walking parents through their children's health journeys.

Dr. Farahani's special interests include cochlear implants, chronic ear infections, airway reconstruction, and nasal and sinus surgery. In his spare time, he enjoys running, playing golf, and watching college football. He and his family enjoy spending time together playing outside, eating Mexican food, and watching movies.
