I look forward to seeing her again in the future.
Although I am a new patient and still in the process of establishing care at this facility, I have already attended two appointments and have seen two different nurse practitioners. During my most recent visit, I inquired about the possibility of receiving a reasonable accommodation, specifically related to my mental health needs. At that appointment, I was diagnosed with Adjustment Disorder with mixed anxiety and depression. I informed the provider that one accommodation that could significantly alleviate my symptoms would be the option to telework. As a mental health professional myself, I was disappointed that the only accommodation offered was a prescription for medication. While I understand that medication may be helpful for some individuals, I do not believe it should be the immediate or sole solution—especially given the potential side effects and the lack of a clearly defined plan for ongoing medication management. The provider who offered the prescription also informed me that she has not yet fully established care with me, which raises additional concerns about prescribing medication without a long-term treatment or monitoring plan. I expressed that I am not comfortable with medication as the first line of treatment, particularly when my request for an accommodation—such as telework—was not addressed or explored further. This experience left me feeling disheartened, as it seemed the focus was on medication rather than a holistic approach to care that includes non-pharmaceutical options. Additionally, I was told I would receive referrals to a therapist or psychiatrist. However, it has now been nearly two weeks, and I have not received any follow-up regarding these referrals. Yet, a prescription for medication was offered promptly. I understand that this practice may not handle workplace accommodations directly. However, I would appreciate clarity on the process, support in accessing alternative treatment options, and timely follow-up on the referrals promised.

Poor follow-up
I’m not please with seeing a nurse practitioner anymore if I can see my doctor I much rather go to the hospital to be treated
Was satisfied seeing the P.A.
Love this practice have nothing but great things to say!
A patient should have enough time to have a full thorough exam with a professional who is serious about their profession and patient care. Not how many patients can be seen in a short period of time per day....
It is a pleasure to have that kind of courtesy given to a patient.
