With a decade of experience to work from, Edwin Batista completed both his undergraduate as well as his Master of Nursing at The University of Texas at Austin. For the better part of his career, he has focused on pediatric orthopedics, treating patients with both acute and chronic complaints related to orthopedic issues. Edwin has served children and families at the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital, and the Dell Children's Hospital in Austin.
He recognizes the needs of children and their parents during the clinical visit and beyond, working to ensure the family is comfortable with their experience. Edwin is a board-certified primary care pediatric nurse practitioner and advanced practice registered nurse. He is fluent in Spanish.

If this were to ever happen again to my daughter, then this would be the doctor that I would like to come and see I can’t speak on behalf of Christa San Rosa emergency room. Downtown I did go through a lot of problems with them, but as far as this doctor Edwin Bautista ortho at La Cantera facility he’s an awesome doctor. And we are on the road to recovery

I’m just very disappointed in the service we received with the orthopedic. He wasn’t very friendly & was extremely rude. But the front desk staff & nurses were very nice.
