Dr. Ireton is an accomplished and diligent family physician based in Corpus Christi, TX. Dr. Ireton earned medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara Facultad de Medicina in Mexico. He then moved back to the United States to complete a residency in family medicine at CHRISTUS Spohn Health System followed by a fellowship in geriatric medicine. Dr. Ireton is certified in advanced cardiovascular life support, advanced trauma life support, and basic disaster life support.

Dr. Ireton is a part of Family Medicine Academic Center and is affiliated with CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi in corpus Christi, TX. He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Additionally, he is board certified in hospice and palliative care as well as geriatric medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Ireton is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Ireton is fluent in English and Spanish making him accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. He enjoys spending time with his wife and four children in addition to participating in continuing medical education conferences.
