Meet Erika Huddle, MD

Erika Huddle, MD, is a board-certified family medicine clinician at CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic. She treats patients of all ages in Mineola, TX. She is passionate about holistic health and the profound ways lifestyle choices shape both mental and physical well-being. She has a strong interest in obesity medicine and treatment, preventive care, geriatric-focused health, and pediatric care.

Dr. Huddle was born and raised in Canton, Texas, where she graduated as Valedictorian from Canton High School. She went on to earn her undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Dallas Baptist University. She received her medical education at Ross University School of Medicine and completed her clinical rotations at the University of Maryland. Following medical school, Dr. Erika Huddle returned to Texas to complete her Family Medicine Residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, where she also earned her Board Certification in Family Medicine. Dr. Erika Huddle finds family medicine rewarding because she feels it’s a privilege to care for patients at every stage of life while addressing a wide range of health needs.

In her spare time, she loves spending time with the most important people in her life – her husband (who is her high school sweetheart), and her two children. As a family, they explore the local shops and farmers’ markets. Dr. Erika Huddle is a firm believer in building meaningful connections, and she often hosts gatherings at her home, surrounded by family and friends.
