Board-certified, Francis Fischer, DO, brings expert-level care and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic. Specializing in internal medicine, he cares for adults 18 and older, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, geriatric care, menopause management, and osteoporosis screening.
Dr. Fischer believes that strong relationships play a huge role in your health journey. He takes time to understand your full health history and personal story, working together to create care plans that reflect your goals and values. His approach emphasizes patient education, prevention, and shared decision-making, empowering patients to take an active role in their long-term health.
As a summa cum laude graduate from the University of Texas at Tyler with a degree in biology, Dr. Fischer went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Staying close to the DFW area, he completed his internal medicine internship and residency at Dallas Methodist Medical Center.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Fischer enjoys life with his wife and twin daughters, along with their rescue dog, Winslow, who keeps the family active on long walks. Together, they enjoy exploring brew cities across Texas and beyond. In his free time, Dr. Fischer stays active with tennis and rock climbing.
