Dr. Gautham Prabhakar is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for patients with spinal disorders. A proud Texas native, he earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. To further his expertise, Dr. Prabhakar completed a prestigious spine surgery fellowship in San Diego under Dr. Gregory Mundis, a world-renowned spinal deformity surgeon, and Dr. Robert Eastlack, an innovator in modern spinal techniques. He is highly skilled in the latest minimally invasive and complex spine procedures, always focused on achieving the best possible outcomes for his patients. Dr. Prabhakar joined Texas Neuro Spine with a mission to deliver high-quality, personalized spine care to the San Antonio community. His treatment philosophy blends advanced surgical innovation with a conservative approach, emphasizing motion preservation and long-term wellness.
