Meet John Odom, MD

Dr. John (JD) Odom joined CHRISTUS Children’s Genetics Division in July 2022. His practice focuses on general genetics and inherited metabolic disorders affecting a child’s overall health and development. Dr. Odom completed a fellowship in Medical Biochemical Genetics and a residency in Medical Genetics and Genomics at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. In addition, he completed a residency in Medical Genetics and Genonics at Baylor. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa and completed pediatric residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
