Meet John Weaver, MD

John Weaver, MD, is a family medicine clinician at CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in Texarkana, TX. He treats patients 12 years old and older in Texarkana and the surrounding communities.

Dr. Weaver earned his undergraduate degree in the Biosciences Post-Baccalaureate Program at the University of Texas at Dallas in Richardson, TX. He pursued law before entering the medical field and earned his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, TX. After several years in law, he returned to school and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX. For his family medicine residency, he attended Baylor Family Medicine Residency at Garland in Garland, TX. Dr. Weaver has been recognized as the highest-rated physician with respect to patient satisfaction in his previous health care roles. His patient philosophy is rooted in treating the whole person, not just the disease. He believes in pairing medications and standard treatments with natural supplements and healthy lifestyle modifications to provide a more rounded plan of care for patients.
