Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Larakers earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine before completing his Family Medicine residency at CHRISTUS Spohn Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi, where he trained extensively in rural medicine and obstetrical care. Throughout his career, he has combined patient-centered care with physician leadership, helping strengthen access to quality healthcare in rural South Texas while mentoring future physicians through Texas A&M College of Medicine.
