Meet Juan Padilla, MD

Dr. Juan Padilla is a board-certified neurosurgeon with more than 25 years of experience caring for patients with brain and spine conditions. He completed his surgical internship and neurosurgery residency at Hospital Universitario de Puerto Rico, where he developed a strong passion for helping patients restore function and quality of life. Before coming to San Antonio, Dr. Padilla spent 15 years in Edinburg, Texas, serving as Chief of Neuroscience at a Level I Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke and Spine Center of Excellence. Dr. Padilla is excited to bring his expertise and compassionate approach to CHRISTUS New Braunfels HOPD, where he continues our commitment to providing state-of-the-art neurosurgical care. He specializes in treating conditions that affect the brain and spinal cord, offering each patient advanced care with genuine understanding and compassion. Dr. Padilla loves to do mission trips to different parts of the world to provide neurosurgical services.
