About

Dr. Julie Ann Wesp received her undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley in Berkeley, California, and her medical degree from the Marshall University School of Medicine in West Virginia. She completed her residency training in general surgery at the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Medicine. Prior to joining CHRISTUS St. Vincent, Dr. Wesp completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017, and is a skilled laparoscopic surgeon. Additionally, she is certified in both single-site and multi-port site robotic surgery. In 2017 Dr. Wesp contributed to articles published in JAMA Surgery.

Dr. Wesp is a singer, dancer and pianist. She also enjoys running, road and mountain biking and snowboarding.
