Meet Karli May, APRN, FNP-C

Karli Map, FNP‑C, CUNP, is a certified family nurse practitioner and certified urologic nurse practitioner who provides compassionate, patient-centered urologic care for adults of all ages. She specializes in the diagnosis and management of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), overactive bladder (OAB), and recurrent urinary tract infections, with a focus on helping patients regain comfort, confidence, and quality of life.

Karli believes that urologic symptoms can feel personal and sometimes overwhelming, so she works hard to create a safe, welcoming space for every patient she meets. Her care philosophy is rooted in trust, communication, and collaboration. She takes time to explain conditions, review treatment options, and answer questions so patients feel informed and included in every decision.

“My approach to patient care in urology is patient-centered, thorough, and collaborative. I focus on building trust through clear communication, education, and compassionate care, recognizing that urologic conditions are often sensitive and can significantly impact quality of life. I believe in taking time to educate patients about their condition, treatment options, and expected outcomes so they can actively participate in decision-making. I strive to advocate for my patients, address concerns promptly, and deliver care that is respectful, empathetic, and focused on achieving the best possible clinical and quality-of-life outcomes.”
