Meet Katherine Heiss, MD

Santa Fe native, Dr. Katherine Heiss Zang is a board-certified family medicine physician with special interest in providing transgender care and women’s health. She received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM and obtained her Doctor of Medicine from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. Dr. Heiss Zang completed her Family Practice and Community Health Residency at the University of Minnesota, Fairview Riverside/Smiley’s Clinic in Minneapolis, MN.

Dr. Zang enjoys hiking, running, skiing, and being a “soccer mom” for her two high school aged children.
