Meet Larissa Nunez, DNP, CNP

Larissa is a nurse practitioner specializing in palliative and integrative medicine. She works with patients experiencing chronic life limiting illnesses and has interests in evidence based non-pharmacological symptom management and holistic health. Larissa approaches care by getting to know individuals as people and works with the multidisciplinary team to form a cohesive holistic care plan where the person is the center of care. Larissa received her bachelor’s degree at The University of Texas at Tyler, master’s degree at Simmons University, and doctorate at The University of Minnesota. She has additional board certifications in hospice/palliative medicine and holistic/integrative medicine. Larissa is passionate about attending to the whole person – body, mind, and spirit. Outside of work, she is an experienced Reiki Master and Sound Therapist. She spends her time taking advantage of all the fun, food, and festivals in the community with her husband and two dogs; a Border Collie/Shepard Mix named Archer and a Boston Terrier named Zozo (after Zozobra).
