Meet Lorraine Ramos, APRN, FNP-C
A native Texan, Loraine Ramos was born and raised in Corpus Christi. Her passion for healthcare began at a young age when her grandfather became ill with cancer. She knew then healthcare was her calling after seeing compassionate care given by the hospice team to her grandfather.
After her military service in the United States Navy, she joined CHRISTUS Health as a telecommunications operator while also attending nursing school. She obtained her vocational nursing license and then her nursing license all while at CHRISTUS serving her patients across different capacities throughout the health system. From hemodialysis, critical care, and intensive care to labor and delivery, postpartum and neonatal nursing.
Lorraine’s passion for learning continues – she most recently obtained a master’s degree to become a certified family nurse practitioner.
Lorraine is committed to providing safe, compassionate care for her patients and their families. She strives to provide those she cares for with knowledge and education regarding their healthcare needs. As an advocate for their care, she will utilize the tools available to her and the community in order to do so.
