About Marc Matarazzo, MD
Dr. Marc F. Matarazzo is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, specializing in Sports Medicine and performing minimally invasive procedures, including arthroscopy, to repair complex shoulder, hip and knee injuries. Fellowship-trained, Dr. Matarazzo has more than 20 years of experience and a special interest in cartilage restoration and preservation.
Dr. Matarazzo earned his medical degree at Temple University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University. He then completed a sports medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, serving as Assistant Team Physician for the New York Jets and New York Islanders, as well as for the Hofstra University and Hunter College Athletic Departments.
