I called days before my appointment to see if there was a grace period for being late. The lady I spoke to said patients are allowed a 15 minute window. I was checking in at the front desk with two minutes to spare and the lady checking me in was rude and told me that she had to see if I could even be seen because I was late. I explained to her the above information, but got the impression she didn't care to hear any excuses. When i went into the room to be seen Amanda, Clarrissa's nurse grilled me for more than a couple of minutes about being late. I explained that I had called ahead the week before saying I was going to be running late. She scrolled my chart looking for notes and said they wouldn't have anything on file that old. I then told her that wasn't my fault. She said next time I'm going to be late to call them saying I'm on my way there. That Clarissa doesnt have to wait, she has things to do. I was mentally exhausted trying to defend myself. Finally when clarissa walked in the door I got the cold shoulder from her. I had never seen her in that light before. She quickly went over my bloodwork and told me coldly, unsympatheticly that she was going to put me on medication for my high cholesterol, medication for my urine infection and on Vit D due to being low on it. When I asked her if she could prescribe weightloss medication she said I'd have to schedule an appointment for that because there were patients waiting to see her and that I had to call my insurance first to see if the medication would be covered. This was the very first time I was ""late"" which according to lady on the phone, I technically was not. By the time I left, I felt sicker than I felt going in. I messaged Clarissa's office after calling my insurance telling them that my insurance will cover the weightloss medication as long as the doctor has reason for me to be on it. I'm overweight with high cholesterol. I appolgize for the inconvenience I may have caused her office, and don't think I deserved to be treated that way. It's bothersome that they got so worked up when we all know that patients wait in the examining room for more than fifteen minutes and we don't complain.

Clarissa is a careful, compassionate listener and always makes sensible, well-considered recommendations.

I fell and received staples in my head. The doctor and staff were concerned and gave me the information I needed to get better.

I felt the attendants who did the x-rays should have told me I wouldn’t get results for a few days because there equipment was down. I could have gone somewhere else if that was the case
