Meet Marjorie Scogin, PA

Marjorie Scogin, PA, is a physician assistant with more than 25 years of experience providing compassionate primary, urgent, and chronic illness care through a holistic and patient-centered approach. She believes the most effective care comes from shared decision-making and understanding what matters most to each patient and their family. By focusing on individual goals, she helps patients optimize their health and wellness.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and her Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

Throughout her career, Marjorie has cared for patients across a variety of settings with expertise in preventive care, chronic disease management, and urgent health concerns. She also has certifications in brain injury rehabilitation and asthma education. In addition to her clinical work, she has been a mentor for medical students and a speaker at DVBIC educational lectures and classes.

Outside of medicine, Marjorie enjoys international travel, experiencing new cuisines, and learning about different cultures. She loves to be involved in her children’s activities as a proud Eagle Scout mom.
