Dr. George’s area of expertise includes vein disease, carotid disease, aortic disease and aortic dissection, and peripheral arterial disease. Dr. George is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to his patients.
Dr. George earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Texas at Austin in Austin, TX, and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas at Houston in Houston, TX. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Texas at Houston in Houston, TX, and a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Texas at Houston in Houston, TX. Dr. Mitchell is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Dr. George enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, skiing, sailing, and fly fishing. He was the president of the UT Water Ski Team and competed around the country.
