Patient care philosophy:

"I believe serving the community of San Marcos is an honor and a privilege. My philosophy on surgical care is embedded in that service to provide the highest level of excellence in surgery.

I believe patient education is essential and will take whatever amount of time necessary to listen to my patient and explain the situation and treatment options until there is complete understanding. I believe in a team-centered approach to all aspects of surgery which includes the patient’s role as part of the team.

Ultimately, I can only find satisfaction in my work if my patients are satisfied. My job is to guide my patients through the challenges of any surgical problem and get them back to their full baseline health."
