Special Healthcare Interests: After completing residency at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa, Dr. Campos remained in academic medicine and returns as faculty member to our program in 2014. She has an academic interest in women’s health with focus on cervical cancer screening and treatment, where she was previously involved in CPRIT sponsored research. She has also developed a growing interest in technology and graduate medical education; as well as a personal interest in Integrative Medicine, emphasizing individual lifestyle changes and complementary treatment for various co-morbid conditions, encompassing botanicals and supplements.
Professional memberships in American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, Society for Teachers of Family Medicine, Academy of Integrative and Holistic Medicine, and Bexar County Medical Society.
Additional Information: I enjoy practicing with Nutritional Medicine and healthy cooking at home. I enjoy discovering the Hill Country with my family. Working on my herb garden in the Texas heat has become a real challenge.
