Shelbi Billingsley, PA-C, partners with Douglas Barron, DO, to provide comprehensive family medicine care for patients ages 5 and older. She is passionate about preventive medicine, with a special focus on cancer screenings, pediatric care, and women’s health. Dedicated to a patient-centered approach, Shelbi strives to build strong relationships, listen with empathy, and clearly explain conditions and treatment options to empower patients in their healthcare decisions.
Shelbi earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology, graduating summa cum laude from Lipscomb University in 2020. She went on to complete her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Lipscomb in December 2023 and became board-certified by the NCCPA in January 2024. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA).
Originally from Nashville, TN, Shelbi moved to Hallsville in the summer of 2024. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, attending Zumba classes, crocheting, and volunteering on the praise team at church.

Shelbi has X-Ray on my lungs and from there prescribed additional medications. These medications were phoned into my pharmacy and were ready the next day. I am feeling much better by Friday.
