Meet Shelbi Bolton, DO

At CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic, Shelbi Bolton, DO, is a family medicine clinician who treats patients of all ages in Jacksonville, TX.

Her journey into health care began at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. She earned her Master of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX. She continued her education at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, MS, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed her family medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. She believes the best care comes from forming a partnership with her patients, where patients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, and they can work together to create the best care plan for them.

Born and raised in East Texas, she can relate to her patients on a personal level and bring comfort during clinic visits. Dr. Bolton looks at overall health, not just physical, but also mental and spiritual health. She has a special interest in weight loss management, pediatrics, and women’s health and looks forward to being a life-long patient advocate and clinician for the families of Jacksonville!

When she is not working, Dr. Bolton enjoys spending time with her husband, two young daughters, and extended family that live in East Texas. She is heavily involved with her church and volunteers with the children’s ministry at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Jacksonville, TX. Her hobbies include working out, reading and traveling.
