Sirisha Thambuluru, MD, is a dedicated endocrinologist who joins CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in Shreveport, LA. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of South Florida before pursuing her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Thambuluru completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama Birmingham and further specialized in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism during her fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dual board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism, Dr. Thambuluru treats patients aged 18 and older. She is fluent in English and Telugu, allowing her to connect with a diverse patient population. I am encouraged that Dr T is doing more diagnostics etc to try and figure out why I have hypoparathyroidism (if we can figure out why, then maybe we can figure out how to make my parathyroid work again- especially since treatment options are very slim).
