Meet Sudhir Alampur, MD

Sudhir Alampur, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist with more than three decades of experience diagnosing and treating digestive health conditions. He sees patients ages 18 and older and is fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu.

Dr. Alampur specializes in managing irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and provides expert care in colon cancer prevention through routine screening colonoscopies. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care that empowers patients to take control of their digestive health.

Dr. Alampur earned his Bachelor of Medicine from Osmania Medical College in India. He completed his internal medicine internship at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. He served as Chief Resident during his residency at Mount Sinai Hospital-Elmhurst City Hospital in Elmhurst, New York. He went on to complete fellowships in both infectious disease and gastroenterology at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.
