Tammy was a labor and delivery, post-partum and newborn nurse at CHRISTUS Santa Rose New Braunfels before going back to school and becoming the first Certified Nurse Midwife in New Braunfels to perform hospital births. Tammy has been in nursing for more than 20 years and specializes in women’s health and obstetrics. Tammy spent her childhood Kentucky and moved to Texas in her teens. She is married with 5 beautiful children and enjoys spending time with her family outdoors and at the movie.

Tammi is exemplary in her care and concern for her patients. She listens and give advice when needed and then advocates fiercely for her mamas to have the birth that they want. Her post partum care has been so good and her continuing efforts to support me in post partum depression and breastfeeding issues has been amazing.
