Meet Tom Shaw

Ryan Dupre, Head Strength & Conditioning Coach

Ryan is from Louisiana where he got his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana State University and his master’s degree in Education from Nicholls State University.

Ryan has more than 11 years of strength and conditioning experience. He began his career in coaching at Traction Sports Performance in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As an intern there he coached a wide array of athletes, ranging from middle school to the professional level. After his internship at Traction, Ryan went on to do another internship at the world renown Athletes’ Performance (now EXOS) where he trained general population, high school athletes and professional and Olympic athletes. Ryan’s main project during his time at Athletes’ Performance was working on API’s NFL Combine protocols. Next, Ryan went on to Nicholls State University where he spent 2 years as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach, working with all varsity sports (men’s and women’s). After his time at Nicholls State, Ryan had an opportunity to work with the football program at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette (UL). During his time at UL, Ryan was able to be part of a Sun Belt Conference Championship and New Orleans Bowl Championship. In 2014, Ryan took a position at the University of New Mexico, working with baseball, men’s tennis, men’s and women’s track & field, men’s and women’s cross country, and the Spirit Program. In a 2-year span, Ryan’s programs won a total of 7 Mountain West Conference Championships and a 2015 NCAA National Championship. On top of that, Ryan coached multiple individual Mountain West Conference Champions, NCAA All-Americans and NCAA National Champions. In 2016, Ryan took the Head Human Performance Coach position for an Air Force Special Warfare unit. During the 5 years he spent with Special Warfare, Ryan trained some of the nation’s most elite operators in all aspects of human performance.

Ryan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He also holds certifications from USA Weightlifting (Level 1), is a Certified Sports Psychology Coach (CSPC) through the Spencer Institute, is a Certified Speed and Agility Coach (CSAC) through the National Sports Performance Association (NSPA). Ryan holds multiple specializations including the Golf Fitness Specialist Certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

Ryan currently resides in Tyler with his wife Danielle, who is an audiologist in Tyler.

Bryce Tomlin, Strength & Conditioning Coach

Bryce is local to East Texas, born and raised in Gilmer, Texas. He is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and LeTourneau University with a master's degree in Business Administration.

Bryce played four years of collegiate baseball; two years at Northeast Texas Community College, one year at Northwestern Oklahoma State University and one year at Stephen F. Austin State University. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University, Bryce took over as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at LeTourneau University. There he led every team that he trained to the conference tournament; two teams making it to the championship game and one team winning the conference championship.

After graduating from LeTourneau, Bryce and his wife moved to Sun Valley, Idaho where he trained clients at Rapid Results. Bryce has over 6 years of strength and conditioning and personal training experience.

Bryce is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and also holds his Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Youth Fitness Specialist certification through the Academy of Sports and Exercise Science (ACE).

Bryce currently lives in Tyler with his wife Hailey, who is a teacher in Tyler.

Taylor Nox, Strength & Conditioning Coach

Taylor is from Southeastern Louisiana. He received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University.

Taylor has been in the strength and conditioning field for over 8 years. He has worked in the private sector where trained multiple high school athletes to college scholarships, and also has stops at the collegiate level (LSU and Southeastern).

Taylor is a former National Champion powerlifter in the USA Powerlifting federation.

Taylor is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He also holds certifications from USA Weightlifting (Level 2).

Taylor currently resides in Tyler.
