CHRISTUS St. Vincent has a 156-year history of caring for the people of our community with a deeply embedded commitment to health equity, diversity, inclusion and caring for all people.

We operate on the principles of the Catholic Social teachings including the inherent dignity of each person with particular concern for vulnerable populations.   Through the Catholic Social Teachings, we  are called to promote and defend the dignity of each person, to work for the elimination of disparities in health outcomes of vulnerable populations, and to improve access to quality health care.

Care for Our Patients

The Professional-Patient Relationship is at the heart of the care we provide.    The relationship is one of mutual trust, respect and confidentiality that leads to shared decision making between the patient and professional.  Treatments are determined by medical necessity based upon the specific needs of the patient.  Medical necessity is established by the treating professional in collaboration with the patient.
