Our Approach

Through the use of telemedicine, we have the ability to engage in an immediate consult with a Stroke Neurologist upon arrival to our facilities.

Our stroke program utilize a tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) or clot buster to treat your stroke symptoms and our stroke team is highly trained to deliver this medication. As you recover, our nurses and rehabilitation specialists continue to care for you through discharge where you will receive specialized stroke rehabilitation and education to prevent recurring strokes and minimize your risk factors.

Our full continuum of care for stroke patients includes:

  • Immediate consults with a Stroke Neurologist
  • Administration of Activase tPA, or tissue plasminogen activator, an enzyme used to speed up the dissolving of a blood clot
  • Specialized stroke rehabilitation
