Our Approach

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at CHRISTUS Health provides specialized care and treatment for patients who are critically ill or injured. Our goal is to provide the highest level of care and support in an environment specifically designed for patients in serious or life-threatening medical circumstances. The ICU is a special area used for patients in critical condition and in need of 24-hour supervision.

Visiting Hours

The ICU allows visiting anytime other than the hours of 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The Intermediate Care Unit is located on the fourth floor of CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills. Every room is private and roomy enough for visitors, however we only allow two to three adults in a given time period. The length of visit is determined by the nursing team in conjunction with the patient and family to meet the needs of the individual patient.
