Amy Bundy, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, ACGN is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of nursing experience in women’s health. She graduated in 2019 with her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Texas at Arlington. She was a recipient of the Shira Fellowship award for her scholarly work on improving access to genetic panel testing for hereditary cancer syndromes. She completed the City of Hope intensive program in cancer genetics in 2019 and remains as a member in their international community of practice. She most recently became certified in 2020 as an Advanced Clinical Genomics Nurse, and is one of less than 150 advanced practice nurses in the United States with this credential. Her training has prepared her to apply best practices in the rapidly advancing field of genetics in cancer risk assessment and prevention. Amy is available to provide comprehensive genetic cancer risk assessments and genetic testing for both male and female patients. Her services include detailed pre and post-test counseling visits that can be completed in office or through video visits. Delivery of results include personalized management and screening recommendations based on current guidelines set forth by the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN).

Jonathan Henderson, MD

Dr. Henderson is a Northeast Texas Native, having spent half of his childhood in Ore City, Texas and the other half in Fairfield, Texas. He attended Abilene Christian University where he graduated Suma Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology. Upon graduation he commissioned into the United States Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant and then attended medical school at Texas A&M University, graduating in 2008. He continued his training with an Internal Medicine residency at Keesler Medical Center on Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi, and attended his Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at San Antonio Military Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. After training, he practiced medicine for the Air Force at Travis Air Force Base in Northern California, performed long-range fix-winged transport of critically ill patients in Afghanistan, and taught an advanced air transport training class in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Henderson was honorably discharged from the Air Force after 11 years of service in the Summer of 2019, and he returned with his family to Northeast Texas to establish his practice with CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic.

Pediatric Orthopedic Physician Assistant at CHRISTUS Children's Jay joined CHRISTUS Children's team in 2009 after completing physician assistant training at the University of Texas Health Science Center – San Antonio. Prior to that time he worked as a physical therapy assistant which gave him a unique perspective to ensure children receive the care they need to gain the best outcome following their VEPTR surgeries. Jay also plays an integral role in coordinating patient care before, during, and after surgeries. For children and families who travel from outside San Antonio and Texas, Jay coordinates care offered by pediatric specialists in their own communities.
