Katie Kimpel, FNP, started her career as an ICU nurse caring for critically ill patients, Kimpel knew she had found her calling, going on to become a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Family Medicine. Building relationships with my patients is very important to me. Listening and establishing a good rapport helps me provide better care. I attend annual continuing education conferences so I remain knowledgeable on all current practice guidelines and treatments. Kimpel earned her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Northwestern State University, graduating as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
