Our Approach

We understand the impact of social distancing and the importance of limiting the risk of exposure to COVID-19. However, we want you to be confident in seeking the care you need, especially in the case of an emergency. Our emergency departments are here to safely provide for life threatening illness and injury. Do not ignore the signs of stroke, heart attack, issues with Diabetes, COPD and other urgent health conditions. We remain a safe place for all to receive quality care. While COVID-19 is new, our processes and procedures in place for infection prevention and preventing the spread of illness are not.

When you are faced with a medical emergency, CHRISTUS Southeast Texas- St. Elizabeth Hospital is here to provide experienced, specialized and effective treatment, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Our Emergency Departments Include:

  • Board-certified Emergency Physicians
  • Specially-trained nurses certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • Emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, radiology technicians and other medical support staff who work alongside our emergency department team
  • Physicians who specialize in trauma medicine, surgery, cardiology, orthopedics and many other areas are on call to the emergency department

In the event of an emergency please dial 9-1-1, or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
