Polsomnography or sleep study is a test that measures bodily functions during sleep. The testing is non-invasive and painless. Some of the measurements taken may include brain waves, eye movement, sleep stages, airflow (nose and mouth), heart rate, chin and leg muscle activity, abdominal and chest wall movement, and oxygen saturation. Depending on the nature of you sleep disorder, you may require to have one or two nights of polsomnography done on an outpatient basis in a private bedroom at one of our centers. Trained technicians using state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment will monitor you from a separate control room for the duration of the study. We make the environment as comfortable as possible.
