St. Vincent Hospital Foundation Announces New Officers for 2021 July 2, 2021

The St. Vincent Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce officers for the upcoming year. Randy Grissom has been selected as Chair with Gregory Edwards as Vice Chair, Randy Hibben as Treasurer and Rebecca Estrada as Secretary.

Outgoing Chair Mary Macukas and Phillip Goldstone will also serve on the Executive Committee. Randy Grissom, who retired as President of Santa Fe Community College in 2017, has been on the Foundation Board for the past three years and also served as the Foundation’s Interim Chief Development Officer for most of 2020.

Grissom has always believed that both quality healthcare and educational systems were critical to the well-being of our communities.

The pandemic has emphasized the need for a local healthcare system that is strong and comprehensive,” Grissom said. “I am extremely proud of the work of the healthcare team and all associates at CHRISTUS St. Vincent in meeting our community’s needs for over 150 years but especially over the past fifteen months.

He added, “I also want to thank Mary Macukas for her three years as Chair of the Foundation. Mary has led our Board in a time of transition, and we are better prepared to do our work as a result of her leadership and commitment.

St. Vincent Hospital Foundation has provided tremendous support to CHRISTUS St. Vincent, our patients and associates throughout the pandemic and continues the wonderful work of building relationships within the community,” said Lillian Montoya, CHRISTUS St. Vincent President and CEO. “We are thankful for the many experienced and dedicated board members who work to forward its mission.

The mission of the St. Vincent Hospital Foundation is To support and promote CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center in providing exceptional healthcare that meets the diverse and ever-evolving needs of our northern New Mexico communities.

The Foundation works closely with the Hospital to raise funds to meet the needs of programmatic areas such as Behavioral Health, Cancer, Diabetes, Gerontology, Heart Health, Neurology, Women and Children, etc.,” said Javier Gonzales, St. Vincent Hospital Foundation, Vice President & Chief Development Officer. “Our Foundation Board members remain actively engaged in philanthropy to enhance services that benefit our every changing community.
