The visit was very good experience and I felt well taken care of.
Thanks
I appreciate Dr Portugal and thank him for practicing in New Mexico.
I will refer friends should they need a cardiologist.
No overlong waiting. Support staff helpful and organized.
Keep him here.
I felt that the physician was smug and judgmental about my former smoking habit, but failed to enquire whether my profession exposed me to unusual respiratory hazards, such as working in an active volcanic fog zone, working in lava tubes with skeletal remains, working in desert rock shelters with skeletal remains, working in underground features, and working at high altitude (10,000 to 11,000 ft). It felt like the physician was reading my ER test results for the first time while I was in the exam room and provided no new insights or information. I left wondering why I was referred for an appointment.
I am very pleased to be his patient.
The doctor seemed to be caring and knowledgable.
