Our physicians, certified nurse mid-wives, nurse practitioners and clinic staff are dedicated to providing compassionate and quality healthcare and support services to the women of East Texas. Whether a woman comes in for a routine gynecological exam, is preparing to give birth, or needs treatment for a disorder, we offer an outstanding breadth of services and options with a special emphasis on preventive medicine, nutrition, breast cancer, osteoporosis, menopause and infectious disease.
CHRISTUS Mother Frances Hospital - Sulphur Springs, with the support of the Hopkins County Healthcare Foundation is extremely excited to announce the opening of the new women’s center – the “Ruth & Jack Gillis Women’s Center.” Sisters, Judy Gillis and Janet Jordan made an incredible contribution to the Healthcare Foundation to name this center after their beloved parents. The facility is a one-stop-shop for women for their radiological needs using state-of-the-art equipment such as:
- Brand new Hologic 3-D Mammography machine with needle biopsy
- Bone Density
- and Ultrasound.
The hospital has Interventional Radiologists onsite every Thursday, who are able to perform various minimally invasive procedures using medical imaging guidance.
