Meet Erica Zepeda, APRN, CPNP-AC, MSN

Erica Flores Zepeda was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and is fluent in Spanish. She completed her first undergraduate degree in Community Health at Texas A&M University - College Station then pursued her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi followed by earning her Master of Science in Nursing at The University of Texas – Arlington. She is certified in Primary and Acute Care Pediatrics. Erica has a passion for children with orthopedic conditions. As a pediatric nurse practitioner, Erica specailizes in treatment children with conditions such as in-toeing, out-toeing, toe walking, bowlegs, knock knees, fractures, sport injuries, scoliosis and developmental dysplasia (dislocation) of the hip (DDH).

She previously worked at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children where she was responsible for a DDH research clinic which led to publications and presentations. She has served in leadership positions with multiple pediatric orthopedic organizations.

Her hobbies include cheering on her beloved Texas A&M Aggies, Zumba and yoga. She enjoys spending time with her husband and young son who loves Disney, Star Wars and Superheroes.
