Dr. Antao Du is a board-certified neurologist at CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in Longview, Texas. Dr. Du is board-certified in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy. He takes care of patients with a variety of neurological disorders, including headache, neck and back pain, stroke, and epilepsy, as well as movement, neuromuscular, and neurodegenerative disorders. Before becoming a neurologist, he trained as a radiologist and worked for several years in advanced imaging techniques.

·     Electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction for diagnosis of neuromuscular disorders

·     Botox in chronic migraines, cervical dystonia, blepharospasm, and spasticity

·     Occipital nerve block and triggering point injection for headache and pain

Before moving to full-time clinical practice, Dr. Du was a prolific research scientist at the Center for Imaging of Neurodegenerative Diseases (CIND) at UCSF. His peer-reviewed work in prestigious journals like Neurology and Brain helped define how advanced neuroimaging technique can distinguish between different types of dementia, such as Alzheimer's and Frontotemporal Dementia, and early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease.
