Dr. Joshua D. Stein, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon with CHRISTUS Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute in Tyler, Texas. Board certified in Orthopedic Surgery with a subspecialty certification in Sports Medicine, Dr. Stein specializes in treating shoulder and knee injuries, including rotator cuff tears and ACL injuries. He earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College, completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine, and went on to complete a Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship at Baylor. Serving the Tyler community for more than two decades, Dr. Stein brings a unique perspective to patient care as a former world-class gymnast, helping athletes and active individuals throughout East Texas safely return to sports, work and everyday life.
