Meet Kristin Allison, CPNP-PC

Kristin Allison started her nursing career in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at CHRISTUS Children’s. As a critical care nurse, Kristin was a member of the All Kidz Critical Care Transport Team, helping children receive the expert care they needed. She says caring for the children of South Texas over the past decade has brought her great joy while also teaching humility and strength in facing of her own challenges. Her experience in the PICU laid the groundwork for pursuing training and education as a nurse practitioner.

As part of the Cancer and Blood Disorders Center team, Kristin says she’s inspired by the children and families she serves and they have all left a lasting impression on her. She admires their resilience and fervor for life. “I hold each of them in my heart and hope to spread joy amongst my patients as they face some of their most difficult trials,” she said.

In her time away from work, Kristin and her husband enjoy taking their sons to the Doseum, Airtopia, the library and the park. When she's not out and about with her family, Kristin enjoys curling up with a good book and hot cup of coffee.
