At Coastal Bend Family Medicine we care for the whole patient and make it our goal to understand his or her conditions. As primary care specialists we provide patient-centered care to meet the needs of the entire family. From the youngest to the oldest member of your family, you can look to us to provider guidance for both wellness care and sick care.

Universal Masking

We at CHRISTUS Health value your health and safety. Consistent with recommendations from the CDC and the Texas Medical Board, we are requiring all patients, visitors and employees to wear a mask while within our facilities. Masks are not advised for children under age 2. Please bring your mask from home with you to your appointment. Any double layered cloth mask covering your nose and mouth is appropriate for visiting our clinics as long as it does not have an exhalation valve. If you cannot come alone to your appointment, please bring no more than 1 essential visitor with you.

If you are ill with fever and cough or shortness of breath, please contact your clinician's office for instructions before coming into the clinic. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you. These measures are just a few steps we are taking to ensure to provide you and all others a safe environment.

Insurance information:
We accept most insurance. Please contact the office directly if you have questions regarding your specific insurance plan.

Payment information:
For patient convenience we accept cash, checks, and credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, and Discover) for co-pays, deductibles, and insurance co-insurance at time of service.

Appointment Information:

Please note that we do not see patients on Friday afternoons.

Patients are only seen by appointment. Some same day appointments may be available for sick visits.

Current patients may request appointments through the online Patient Portal and we will call you to confirm your appointment.
Please bring your insurance card and driver’s license to each appointment.

We value each patient’s time and strive to see each patient at the time of his or her scheduled appointment. Appointment slots are valuable and we ask patients to give us a minimum of 24-hours advance notice for cancellations.

Please note that patients are not permitted more than three no show appointments.
